The Mary MacLane room is part of a Jack and Jill set of bedrooms and shares a bath with the adjacent Frank H. Little Room.  This cozy room is on the third floor at the head of the master staircase and next to the shared bathroom.  It is furnished with an antique double bed, dresser, mirror, towel rack, mission-style desk and desk chair, and a closet.  You can relax watching cable TV on a high definition, 32 inch, flat screen.   The subway-tiled full bath includes a large tub/shower, a pedestal sink, medicine cabinet, and toilet.  Mary MacLane wrote in her book in 1902 “I sit at my window and look out upon the chimneys and housetops of Butte”. Like the Mary MacLane room at the mansion, her real bedroom is also on Excelsior Avenue, just a few blocks up the hill from the mansion and would have commanded a similar view as her room in the mansion
